What if my partner doesn’t want to go to therapy?
Sigh… We’ve heard this one before. Sometimes, one partner is more eager than the other. It’s totally understandable. Feel free to reach out and do a consultation with us yourself. We can give you ideas on how to talk to and encourage your partner.
Is couples therapy really necessary?
Not always, but it can help. Therapy is like relationship insurance. It helps prevent small problems from becoming big blowouts. But with our couples intensives we take therapy to the next level. Basically, it’s a chance to level up your love game and create an even stronger bond.
We’re both neurodivergent. Will therapy still help?
Absolutely! We specialize in working with neurodivergent couples. We’ll create a safe space where you can be yourselves and learn strategies to navigate your unique challenges — and we’ll try to make it fun!
What Can I Expect?
Hours 1-2: We do a deep dive into each partner’s family of origin, and how this impacts current styles of relating.
Hours 3-4: We get painstakingly specific into your current interactions with your partner, identifying how the learned style of relating is showing up in present day.
Hours 5-6: We will get into concrete interventions and tools to use after you leave the intensive with a clear direction on your next steps for lasting change.
